DVR still recognise the necessity to be able to process ‘through-hole’ technology components today for certain industries, including some military and medical applications. Many new products have ‘through-hole’ devices which cannot be ‘designed-out’ and we have the flexibility to deal with these kinds of projects for clients.
For lead-free conventional processes we have a Blundell CMS 400 wave soldering machine and for products which are still required to be processed with lead-based solder, there is a designated area at our plant for this type of work. DVR have recently introduced Selective Soldering equipment to further compliment our 2nd stage assembly process that greatly improves throughput and quality in that area.
